The European Accessibility Act
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is a directive adopted by the European Union to improve the accessibility of products and services for people with disabilities. It sets common accessibility requirements for key areas such as websites, mobile applications, e-commerce, electronic communications, and more. Businesses must comply with the EAA by June 2025, ensuring that their digital content and tools are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.
